A small-batch bourbon positioned as the accessible expression in the Reservoir range — built for everyday pours, cocktail builds and the neat-or-rocks occasion. Hunter & Scott is a marriage of Virginia-grown grains with hand-selected barrels from Kentucky and Indiana, including barrels made from Reservoir's own Virginian white oak, crafted locally and finished with the house signature alligator char — a deep char level that delivers notably richer colour and fuller flavour development.
Production follows the Reservoir house approach: an open-top fermentation of up to 11 days to maximise yeast-driven flavour, followed by slow pot-still double distillation. Maturation is managed barrel-by-barrel rather than on a fixed timeline, with each cask taste-tested for readiness before bottling.
Recognised as one of Garden & Gun's "Best in the South" and a multi-year Gold Medal winner at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
