A limited-release bourbon from Reservoir Distillery, finished in Jamaican rum casks. The base whiskey is drawn from the Reservoir core range and transferred into imported rum barrels for an additional 18 months of maturation, picking up pronounced sugarcane, tropical fruit and molasses character from the cask — a creative cross-category collaboration between Reservoir and select Jamaican rum producers.
As with the rest of the Reservoir range, grains are Virginia-grown from within 45 miles of the distillery, matured in small barrels with the distillery's signature alligator char for deep colour and concentrated flavour development. Production follows the Reservoir house approach: open-top fermentation of up to 11 days, slow pot-still double distillation, and barrel-by-barrel taste-testing for maturation readiness rather than fixed timelines.
