Tamnavulin 17 Years (Christmas Edition) is Saltire Rare Malts’ first-ever holiday bottling and a limited release of just 259 bottles. Distilled in 2008 and matured in a 2nd-fill European oak hogshead seasoned with ex-Oloroso sherry, this Speyside single malt offers a festive, complex profile ideal for winter whisky menus.

Tasting notes 🥃
This 17-year-old Speyside whisky opens with dried fruits, raisins, and a tannic, woody backbone. At cask strength (48.8%), expect cigar boxes, cloves, and a subtle mustiness. A dash of water transforms it and reveals fruity richness, chestnut paste, cherry pipe tobacco, and softened tannins. An elegant, evolving dram.
