Barrell Dovetail is a cask strength bourbon finished in Dunn Vineyards Cabernet casks, Late Bottled Vintage Port pipes and blackstrap molasses rum casks.
Each release is blended to taste, bottled at true cask strength and can show subtle proof variation.
Double Gold at San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2022 and 2023.
Tasting notes 👃
Appearance: rose gold with worn copper highlights.
Nose: canelé, panna cotta, walnut oil, leather, smoked apricot, grapefruit peel plus sloe gin and damson jam.
Palate: cocoa, molasses, burnt marshmallow, cola, nutmeg and Tellicherry peppercorn.
Finish: rose jelly, chestnut honey, hazelnut, eucalyptus and Corsican mint.
