This 25cl bottling introduces Jeiry’s signature wild Papalote from El Calvario—the perfect format for sharing or tasting for the first time. Matured for a decade in Guerrero’s sierra, the agave is wet-roasted underground to soften the smoke. Shredded, fermented in native ayacahuite wood, and copper-distilled, this single-batch spirit contains zero additives, offering a clean, full-flavored entry into the region's defining spirit.

🌿 Tasting notes

NOSE: Rich butter and sweet cantaloupe, accompanied by floral blooms, roasted cacao, and fresh jalapeño.

PALATE: Full-bodied and velvety; deeply caramelized agave gives way to tropical mamey fruit and wild grass.

FINISH: Long and warm, leaving a lingering impression of fresh cream, ripe pear, and garden herbs.

👩‍🌾 About the producer

Jeiry Toribio has preserved the local craft of wild Papalote for nearly two decades. In the remote enclave of El Calvario, she distills alongside her husband José and a new generation of female apprentices. Together, they hand-craft fewer than 900 liters each year, ensuring every micro-batch remains entirely traditional. Choosing this spirit directly supports her efforts and the micro-economy of her small mountain community.
