El Supremo is a multi-award-winning agricole-style rum from Paraguay — one of the few remaining origins in the world with a continuous rum-making tradition stretching back over 500 years, yet virtually unknown to European buyers until now. Distilled from 100% pure sugarcane honey (miel de caña), produced at a distillery established in 1909, and static-aged without blending, additives or colouring, El Supremo is the only rum in the world matured in Incienso Marrón — a rare Paraguayan hardwood that imparts distinctive notes of warm earth, wild herbs, spice and soft smoke. The dual maturation process follows the traditional Guaraní method: first in Incienso Marrón for depth and character, then finished in French oak for structure and smoothness.
The range spans four age-stated expressions — 5, 8, 12 and 18 Year Old — from an approachable entry point through to a genuinely rare sipping rum. Each expression is static-aged (never solera), bottled in France, and tells its own single-batch story.
