Beesou Honey Aperitif

Beesou is an all-natural bitter aperitif that swaps the usual sugar for honey. It blends ethically sourced fermented British honey with natural botanicals, for a distinctive twist on the traditional aperitif. There are no artificial ingredients, flavourings or colourings and no refined sugars, and its yellow colour comes from natural safflower extract. At just 11% ABV, it works in spritzes and cocktails or over ice. 11% vol, 70cl. Awards include IWSC Gold 2025, London Spirits Competition Gold 2024, and World Liqueur Awards Gold 2023, where it was also named England’s best aperitif.

Tasting notes 👃
Complex top notes of cinchona bark and chinotto open the blend, leading to a burst of bitter orange and pink grapefruit. These round out into the mellow sweetness of raw honey. Bitter first, then honeyed, and not sweet overall. Reviewers describe a great bitter bite, and say it adds real character to a Negroni, a G&T or a spritz. The brand’s signature serve is the Beesou Spritz.
